Amin Abd al-Latif al-Rafi'i, is an Egyptian political writer and journalist who was born in 1886 in Egypt with Syrian origin, his origins go back to Tripoli. He is a pioneer of journalism and the national movement. He was born in Zagazig, where he received his education, next in Alexandria, then he joined the law school in Cairo and graduated from it. He joined the National Party during the reign of its founder, Mustafa Kamel, and began writing articles in the newspapers Al-Liwaa, Al-Alam ,and Al-Shaab, and he was imprisoned in the First World War. After the war, he bought Al-newspaper, and it became his daily platform. When the Egyptian delegation movement appeared; He was its strongest supporter until he disagreed with its leader, Saad Zaghloul, over an opinion on the essence of the issue so Rafii continued writing independently until he died in Cairo.[1][2]
