Rostami was born in Isfahan and lived there until he was 23 years old and came to Tehran. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular cell biology majoring in biochemistry from Islamic Azad University. He was born in Hakim neighborhood of Isfahan and has only two sisters named Mehsa and Amina. His father, Mohammad Rostami, is retired from Saderat Bank and his mother is a teacher.[7]

Start of activities[edit]

From the age of 15-16, I felt that music was doing something strange to me, I felt that I could write melodies that are for me, but I started working professionally at the age of 23, actually from this age I wanted to do the music work, and it took ten years to reach the professional level. He started to make and perform his first pieces in 1378 and began to gain experience in the field of production and sound engineering. Amin Rostami's official name Yad Cheshmat was launched in the year by Avai Nakissa. The second appearance of Amin Rostami in authorized albums was with the group album Eighth, which was released as a group with the presence of other singers such as Reza Sadeghi, Mohsen Chavoshi Hami etc.[8]
