Amit Kumar Mehlan

Assistant Commandant Amit Kumar is a serving CRPF officer of the 2010 Batch UPSC who was awarded Shaurya Chakra[1] in recognition of his extreme valour and exemplary determination in the face of imminent threat and danger by President Droupadi Murmu[2][3].
Career[edit]
Amit, a resident of Meerut[4], completed his schooling at Army School Meerut Cantt, BSc and MSc in Physics from Meerut College[5]. He joined the CRPF as an Assistant Commandant and trained at the CRPF Academy in Gurgaon. He has served in CRPF Valley QAT.
