Assistant Commandant Amit Kumar is a CRPF officer from the 2010 Batch UPSC who was awarded the Shaurya Chakra[1] by President Droupadi Murmu[2] for his bravery and determination[3].
Amit, a resident of Meerut[4], completed his schooling at Army School Meerut Cantt and earned his BSc and MSc in Physics from Meerut College[5]. He joined the CRPF as an Assistant Commandant and trained at the CRPF Academy in Gurgaon. He has served in CRPF Valley QAT.
