Amit Offir (Hebrew: ืขืืืช ืืืคืืจ; born July 16, 1978) is an Israeli author, life coach, entrepreneur, businessman, public speaker, philanthropist, presenter, illustrator and comics artist[1]. His books are addressed to both children and adults. His first book, The Beetle That Wants To Be, was published in Israel in 2000 and soon became a bestseller. In 2013 the book was also published in English. Over the years, Offir has published many books, some of which have been translated into several languages.
Biography
Amit Offir was born in Israel in the city Or Yehuda and studied at Moshe Sharet high school in the city of Netanya. Later he studied animation at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.[citation needed]
He has developed a unique drawing technique that breaks down all characters into five simple steps. He named it Drawing Easily.[2][neutrality is disputed][self-published source] He invented this technique in 2005, after he had drawn on pebbles. Offir's books teach people all around the world how to draw and communicate through drawing.
Offir's first book was published in 2000 when he was 21 years old.
From 2000 to 2002 he was traveling in South America and started working in a guesthouse in Brazil on the island of Morro de Sao Paulo.
Offir has also written and created many books for empowerment, time management, traveling and developing methods that help people to live better lives. [3]
In 2014 he opened โBestseller Books Publishing House & Literary Agencyโ that specialized in publishing books of different genres such as: Business, Self Help, Personal Development, Empowerment, Education Fiction and Children Books. He decided that for each book that was getting published in his publishing house, he will donate a sum of money to plant trees [4].[self-published source][neutrality is disputed]
His book 24/8 - The Secret for being Mega-Effective by Achieving More in Less Time was published. In 2015 the book was published in a special edition with Eyal Nir in Polish by Wena publishing house. In the book, Amit Offir explores one of his methods for time management, called the domino reaction.[citation needed]
In 2018 he started to act as a presenter and was invited to Malta by the Maltese Tourist Office write a book about his visit. He called the book 'Ulitimate Island'. In addition He was on the cover of many books that were published that year, that were photographed in many places in the world such as Israel, Vietnam, Italy, Greece, Azores Islands, Brazil, America, Iceland, Malta, Sweden, Norway and Zanzibar. He also was the presenter of a movie about Serbia directed by film director Gil Lupo.
