Amit Prakash Mishra (born February 15, 1989) is an Indian playback singer, voice actor, and live performer. Born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh by a family of businessman Devendra Prasad Mishra, he started making music at a very young age and performed in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. He graduated from Lucknow University and moved to Mumbai to pursue a musical career. Amit lent his voice in movies, television ads, daily soap titles, and he also lent his musical expertise for many Bollywood composers such as Jai-Parthiv, Prashant Singh, Chirantan Bhatt, Pritam Chakraborty, Rashid Khan, Mickey McCleary, and Anu Mallik. He became recognized as a solo artist after lending his vocals to the album "Eternal Love" by Parthiv Shah. His debut playback song Majboor Tu Bhi Kahin in the movie 1920 Evil Returns (2012), was anchored by the T-series India.
Amit is a trained musician and a classical vocalist. He can not only sing, but Amit is a pro at playing musical instruments. He can compose songs and has also proved his mettle as an arranger. From soft instrumentals to remixes, Amit can do it all. His ability as a performer has been applauded by audiences nationwide. He creates rapport with the audience within a very short span of time whenever he steps on the stage. As a singer, Amit has the capacity to mould his voice to the requirement and mood of the composition, lyrics, or track as the case may be.
