Michael Tavon Patterson (born February 26, 1991) is an American actor, writer, comedian, and novelist. As a recording artist and author, he refers to the name Michael Tavon.
He released his first EP, Sessions, on March 15, 2014, to generally positive reviews. His first LP, Everything is Everything, was released on March 20, 2014. He self-published his first novel, Garage Band: The Legend of Dookie Harris, via Amazon, which inspired the FX hit sitcom series Atlanta[citation needed] created by Donald Glover.
Early life Patterson was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. His mother, Desiree, was a sales clerk, and his father, Michael, was a line chef. [9] He attended Gibbs High School and graduated in 2009. After a brief stint at St. Petersburg College, Tavon decided to pursue his passion for writing and entertainment. He is also Donald Glover’s younger cousin.
