History

The famous restaurant was started by Sardar Prakash Singh in 1956 mostly to meet the demands of truck drivers. The restaurant is now managed by his two sons, Amrik Singh and Sukhdev Singh. The mouthwatering dinner comprised of dal, roti, sabzi, and rice was served on charpais in the beginning. Following the traditions of the past, we bring to you the abundance of our cuisine with warm hospitality and a classic décor. We are passionate about authentic Indian food. Over the years, we have added to our menu numerous mouth-watering South Indian as well as South Indian delights. Serving our patrons for several decades, we've also included many international flavors in our menu including delicious Chinese, Continental food and a variety of sweets.[4][5][6]
