Anacortes Middle School
Anacortes Middle School (AMS) is a public middle school located in the city of Anacortes, Washington. It is the only junior high school in the Anacortes School District, and receives students from both Fidalgo Island and neighboring Guemes Island. In 2016, grade six was moved from the district’s elementary schools to Anacortes Middle School, resulting in the creation of a new sixth grade at AMS below the existing seventh and eighth grades. The Anacortes School District’s main office is located within the school building.
