Analytics India Magazine (AIM) is an Indian online media house / News and Opinion website that covers news related to companies in the Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and analytics industries.[1]

AIM's sections include news, start-up stories, articles, Case studies, Developers guide, Education and Career Advice, and opinion articles.[2]

History[edit]

AIM was started in May 2012 by Bhasker Gupta.[3][4] Gupta is the CEO of AIM.[5]

Website Sections & Activities[edit]

The AIM website publishes articles by industry experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The AIM website also publishes articles related to career and education in the field of analytics, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Data Science in association with premier training institutes such as Jigsaw Academy, Great Learning,[6] Talentspirit.[7] and Springboard.[8]

Studies[edit]

Edvancer and AIM released a study report in June 2018 which stated that the number of data science and analytics jobs in India grew 76 per cent on a year-on-year basis from April 2017 to April 2018.[3][5]

In December 2018, Analytics India Magazine in collaboration with AnalytixLabs released their annual report, Data Science & AI Trends To Watch Out In 2019.[9]

In June 2019, Analytics India Magazine released their study — Addressing The Reskilling Challenge — done in collaboration with Jigsaw Academy that explored the online analytics reskilling market in India, the consumption of analytics education in India, and the different formats of education delivery, etc.[10]

The annual Analytics & Data Science Industry In India: Study 2019 by Analytics India Magazine and Praxis Business School, now in its fifth year, was released in June 2019.[11] In November 2019, AIM and SAS released a study called "State of Data Science in Domestic Indian Market 2019."[12]

Conferences[edit]

In March 2019, AIM organised The Rising, a conference for women data scientists.[13][14]
