Anant Vidhaat is an Indian actor who grew up in New Delhi. Since the age of 13 he has been doing theatre in Delhi. He debuted in 2014 as Himanshu in Yrf movie Gunday and has been a part of many other successful Bollywood movies since then, like 'Mardaani (2014), Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Anant will be starring in the Netfilx series Mai.[1]
Career[edit]
Anant initially started as Assistant Director to get a deeper understanding of Bollywood movies before he jumped into his acting career in Bollywood. Anant made his acting debut with the Hindi film Gunday (2014) playing the Negative character Himanshu. The same year he also played Sunny Katyal in the film Mardaani. Though Anant got appreciated in his earlier two films , it was the character of ‘Govind’ in Sultan from where he got real recognition. He received critical acclaim for his character Govind and was rumoured to get very close to Salman Khan, who is one of the biggest Bollywood superstars.[2][3] He went on to play a role in Tiger Zinda Hai as Karan Rao, a RAW agent. In 2020 Anant got his first lead in the web series Pati Patni Aur Woh streaming on MX Player.[4] [5] [6][7] [8] [9]
