Andoni Elephant Sanctuary

Andoni Elephant Sanctuary is a small a community wildlife reserve located on a barrier island in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. The sanctuary is home to African forest elephants (Loxodonta African cyclotis) and other wildlife species like the Pygmy hippopotamus and Nile crocodile are also resident of the island.
