Andre Meadows (born October 25, 1978)[1] known by his online pseudonym Black Nerd Comedy, is an American YouTuber and actor. He has worked on a number of videos, web series, and films, gaining popularity as a YouTube star. His content consists of "Nerd & Geek" culture, pop culture entertainment and '90s retro nostalgia. He played his BlackNerd character as part of the 2009 Movie Mob series. He created a popular series for his channel called Awkward Talks with Girls[3]. Several of his most-viewed videos feature himself alongside Power Rangers Hyperforce.

Personal life[edit]

Meadows was born in North Carolina[1] and relocated to Los Angeles, California.

Career[edit]

Meadows received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. In addition, Meadows received his licence to be a Massage Therapist. However, when he moved to Los Angeles he no longer practiced.

Before Meadows started his career on YouTube he was working as a computer programmer[4]. While working as a computer programmer and doing YouTube on the side, Meadows was auditioning for acting roles and preforming Stand Up comedy.

Meadows posted his first YouTube video on September 13, 2007 entitled, I'm a BLACK NERD.[5][6]

Along with being a YouTuber, Meadows has produced rap albums under the name, Arnie Sykes.
