Career
Magini began his career in Italy, working in youth football development. He was a sports physiotherapist in the youth sector of ACF Fiorentina,[1] where he worked on injury management and rehabilitation for young players.[5] He worked with several teams and organisations, including the China national futsal team, the Chinese Olympic Committee, and a rugby national team in New Zealand. During this period, he was based primarily in Beijing.[6]
He later worked in the Chinese Super League with Shijiazhuang Ever Bright F.C. in 2020 and Henan F.C.,[7] focusing on rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes. Magini joined Villarreal CF as a sports physiotherapist.[8] Later that year, he became part of the medical staff at Chelsea F.C. During his time with the club, Chelsea won the UEFA Europa Conference League.[1]
Alongside his professional work, Magini has been involved in academic teaching at the University of Siena since 2021.[9]
