Andrea Micalizzi, also known as rgod, is an Italian computer security researcher,[1] consultant, author and ethical hacker with a special focus on web applications.[2] In 2015 he is a Hewlett-Packard's Zero Day Initiative contributor.


Micalizzi discovered hundreds of vulnerabilities in commonly used and enterprise software, exploited with a variety of techniques.[3][4][5]

In 2013 he informed JBoss developers of a process by which bypassed the built-in authentication in their online software.[6][7][8] That year he also found vulnerabilities in Foxit PDF reader,[9][10] which were also fixed.[11]

In 2015 Micalizzi discovered vulnerabilities which led to security updates in Pelco software.[12] In 2017 he exposed flaws in the Schneider Electric U.motion Builder software.[13]
