Andrej Kedveš ( born in 1997, Croatia) is young Croatian Featherweight kickboxer.

Biography and career[edit]

In 2011., when Kedveš was 14 years old, he became member of BLITZ muay thai and kickboxing club in Đakovo, where he stil continues to train. His first amateur fight was held in May, 2012. on Croatian championship where he wins in quarterfinal by tehnical knockout.

Further on, in March 2013, he participates on I.F.M.A. World Junior Championship ( Istanbul, Turkey), (57 kg) where in 1/16 finals wins Dane Muhaammed Ali Salah and then he loses in 1/8 from Galyiev Abila (Kazahstan), who becomes world champion a year later.

In September 2014. Kedveš became world champion in category -60 kg on W.A.K.O junior world championship which was held in Rimini, Italy. There he had win fights over champions of Austria, Israel and Russia.[1]


On January 31.,2015. in Nancy,France he fights for Emperor chok dee muay thai world title (63,5 kg) against experienced muay thai fighter who had a lot of good fight in Thailand.[2]

In April 2015. on ACB 8-men tournament,which was held in Grozny, Chechen Republic in category -61 kg, in quarterfinal he fights against domestic fitgher Umar Pashaev and was defeated by debatable judge decision.[3]


On W.A.K.O european championship, which was held in August (San Sebastian, Spain) wins bronze medal after defeating Ukraine and Polish and then losing in semi-final against Russian champion.

In April 2016. Kedveš debuts for polish organisation "SPARTAN FIGHT" where he has impressive win over Lukas Mandinec from Slovakia. In august he has another fight on "SPARTAN FIGHT" where he wins Lukazs Leczyycki by tehnical knockout in third round.

In May 2016., Vienna he debutes for Russian organisation W5 and wins over Zekria Rezai by tehnical knockout in second round. He has 3 more performances for W5 where he wins over Tomas Cincik(Slovakia) by knockout, Michael Krolik(Poland) and Jakub Krofta(Czech Republic) by judge decision.
