Andress Hamenda (born 4 September 1980) is a founder of Punya Harapan (English: Have Hope) and the pioneer of sustainable education in Indonesian prisons focusing on entrepreneurship, English and computer studies.[1][2][3][4]
Punya Harapan program is supported by British Embassy Jakarta, Ministry of Law and Human Rights Republic Indonesia, and LPKA Tomohon/Child Development Agency Tomohon which was launched as a pilot project in Tomohon, North Sulawesi on the 11th of August commemorating two public holidays namely International Youth Day (12 August 2018) and Independence Day of Indonesia (17 August 2018).[5][6]
Founder of Punya Harapan is also strengthened by the widespread network of Indonesians who have studied in Australia and in the United Kingdom.[7][8][9]
