Andrew Magdy Kamal

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Mostly omitted many of the IMDB sections and added external links at the end instead. Though one can argue, that lots of actor/producer pages have referenced IMDB in the past. I think this should suffice. I believe in good faith, lots of the requested edits have been done. ~@Jjson32

Hi, I did all the wording edits you wanted. The Crunchbase reference was primarily used for the sentence, "He is behind Lonero, CrowdCoin, CrowdWave, EtherStone, WeCrypto,". This was as a proper alternative to listing 1 or 2 sources for each software mention. Crunchbase at the end of the day is a database, and it make sense to just list one source of a database then 5 to 10 sources for a list of project mentions. Using links to a database as a reference instead of 5 to 10 references, was a logical way to clean up the Wiki while maintaining its originality. ~@Jjson32

In regards to referencing GitHub and software documentation, this was in the context of open source software. Bitcoin, Ethereum, ZeroNet, Tor, etc. all reference GitHub or have GitHub links throughout their Wikipedia pages. Most of these as references and footnotes, were used in a context that makes sense. It is quite difficult to find any approved open source related Wikipedia page that doesn't mention Git, GitHub, SourceForge or some other third party source control Git service. Hope this explanation suffices ~@Jjson32

Hi, please see my comments above in regards to the GitHub and CrunchBase links. Also, I looked at the list of peacock terms and am not sure what the problem is. There are no terms used like the best, or visionary, or innovative, etc. in the context of that section. The section mentions direct events as they happened and software/hardware of a crypto company. Contexts of any preprints or whitepapers also exist within those preprints to justify statements said. What is obvious bias to one person, may be entirely non bias to others. Neutrality at that sense can be subjective. I have done my best not to directly praise certain aspects of any of the software. ~@Jjson32

Hi, the section needing editing have been rewritten and reworded. Hopefully, you will like the newer tone much more. ~@Jjson32

Hi, the wording has been updated, and awards list and bibliography been cut. While I'm not sure that Wikipedia has a limit to the number of rewards or scholarly articles that can be on a page, I tried leaving out the more noted ones. Hopefully these newer edits suffice and thank you for the prompt feedback ~@Jjson32

It was difficult, but I have managed to lower the references again from 92 to 68, as well as lower the list size, but still maintain quality of the article. I also updated some wording so it doesn't seem too exhaustive. Hoping this will finally suffice. ~@Jjson32

Hi, I have lowered the citation count from 155 to 92 and tried making it more organized, hope this suffices in terms of cleaning up the page. ~@Jjson32

Hi, lots of the wording have been updated and more context has been provided. If after the recent changes, it is still written in an informal tone or has peacock terms, I suggest you highlight the parts needing editing to make it easier on the editors ~@Jjson32

Lonero is an open-source decentralized cryptocurrency and blockchain. Lonero's software was released without doing an initial coin offering[36], and first mentioned in July 2018 through a BitcoinTalk announcement[37]. Following the announcement, Lonero attempted to run a voluntary marketing bounty in August 2018. Lonero (LNR) as a cryptocurrency, includes specifically designed technological architecture. Part of this architecture includes a custom masternode consensus system they call HashBolt. Lonero's consensus was built to integrate cryptocurrency mining between ASIC and Non-ASIC type hardware architecture. A technological offering of Lonero, is that they created an SDK for decentralized internet and distributed computing projects. As of May 2020, the SDK have been downloaded and utilized by over 100k developers to sync data transmitted through custom DAPPs or run blockchain-enabled software defined networks. Many posts related to usecases of Lonero's SDK and software have been proposed and syndicated through the technology website HackerNoon[38]. These were blog posts mentioning usecases from biostatistical computing pipelines to custom grid computing networks. Things such as blockchain-oriented adoption matching networks have been proposed by Lonero[39]. Lonero is also behind the Lonero OS[11], which is a decentralized operating system whose first distro was a fork of Lubuntu. Lonero also develops software related to LocalHost ASIC Virtualization[40], and the experimental development of LonScript (a programming language)[41]. In December 2019, a paper published on distributed web systems that mentions post-quantum cryptologic methodologies was published as an IACR preprint[42]. Part of the pre-print briefly proposed a basis for parallel based Qubit processing architectural systems. Andrew also runs for Lonero a personal project log on the hardware electronics and maker website Hackaday[43]. Historically, he spoke at various Maker Faire events in attempts to garnish some involvement with the open source hardware movement. On Lonero's open source hardware side was ChainBoard, which been described as a blockchain-enabled hardware development board[44]. Lonero have attempted to run a Kickstarter campaign for ChainBoard, which they ultimately ended up cancelling[45]. Other hardware that Lonero has been behind included hardware cryptography keys[46][47], and PeerTop[48][49]. Advanced variations of Lonero's hardware cryptography keys were centered around multi-state cryptographic hashing and headless computing type systems. Lonero's protocols have been integrated in the past for an underwater wireless sensory network[50]. The project has been presented as an underwater wireless communications method[51] meant to track information about our oceans through a noiseless signal. Consequently, the project was briefly mentioned by the DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer and the DOEE during the time it was presented at GigabitDCx. In regards to Lonero's SDK, they have mentioned wanting a more free, and open-source alternative to the current internet. Their SDK and network also utilizes P2P compatibility in terms of their signaling[52]
