Andrew Kemper (born 7 January 1974) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was selected with the 193 pick in the ninth round, during the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Andrew Kemper on being drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning:

“It was pretty exciting. It’s a bit of a whirlwind when you’re a young guy going to your first NHL camp. I think I was lucky to go and experience that because being an expansion franchise they had less players in their system so I had the opportunity to go to training camp where as now teams have lots of players in their system. They do rookie camp, like development camp first… and some of those kids don’t end up actually getting to go to the main camp where the actual NHL players are. So that was pretty cool, looking back at it.” [1]

Andrew Kemper never ended up reaching the NHL for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Andrew Kemper did play two seasons of professional hockey. His first season of professional hockey was with the Kansas City Blades of the IHL.[2] His second season of professional hockey was with Mobile Mysticks of the East Coast Hockey League.[3] Andrew Kemper would also spend three seasons playing collegiate hockey. Andrew Kemper played his final hockey season with the University of British Columbia in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association conference.[4]
