Andrew Mynarski VC School (known more commonly as AMVC), is a middle school in the shaughnessy park area of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The school was built in 1954 and opened officially in September 1955. The school is named after Victoria Cross recipient Andrew Charles Mynarski. AMVC's sports teams are named Lancasters.[1][2]

The original school building had 15 classrooms, an auditorium, gymnasium, and service rooms. An additional four classrooms were added in 1960-1961 and another addition was made in 1965. The northeast corner of the school lot was sold in 1963 for construction of a community library.
