Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute (Or DMCI) is a Public High School located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded in the late 19th century, the school is named after Daniel McIntyre, Winnipeg's first school superintendent.[citation needed]

History

DMCI was founded and traces back to 1882 and built in 1923 by the Winnipeg School Division with the goal of achieving excellence in academics and preparing graduates and potential students for further education such as college, university, or medical school.

Medical Professionals Program

The Medical Professionals Program (MPP) is a three-year integrated program that prepares and teaches students (10-12) interested in the medical field the essential knowledge and skills needed to excel in their chosen medical career path.

Students enrolled in the Medical Professionals Program will have the opportunity to participate in off-site learning at medical institutions in Winnipeg and will be eligible for CPR certification, as well as an internship or mentorship.
