Philippines
Benched twice and not given a chance in the A-League with Newcastle Jets, much to his vexation,[2] Pawiak took up a professional contract with Ilocos United of the Philippines Football League in May 2017,[3][4] stating that "the standard of football is quite good" there and that "it was a challenging but good experience" upon returning to Australia.[5][6]
