Android 15 is the upcoming fifteenth major release of the Android operating system, designed and manufactured by Google. It will likely be released to the public in Q3 of 2024, and to developers in around Q1-Q2 2024. Rumors say that Android 15 may have the codename of Vanilla Ice Cream, as follows the alphabetical codename release. [1][2]

Compatibility[edit]

Some device models, such as the Galaxy S20 series, may not be compatible with Android 15. Here is the list of Android devices that may be compatible.

A predictive back gesture animation shows the destination of the back gesture and indicates when the back gesture will close or return to another app.[3]
