andstudio is a Lithuanian branding and design agency based in Vilnius. Founded in 2016, the studio works in brand strategy, visual identity, packaging, motion graphics, and digital design.
History
andstudio was established in 2016 by Augustinas Paukštė and Domas Mikšys.[1] In 2023, Diana Abramavičiūtė became a partner and CEO.[2]
The agency began with projects for Lithuanian cultural and commercial organisations and later expanded to international work in technology and consumer goods. Since 2017, it has organised the annual Creativity Scouting conference in Vilnius. It has also taken part in design research and experimental projects, such as Sauna Radio, and in the Studio Exchange programme, which arranges office swaps with international creative studios.[1]
In 2019, andstudio collaborated with the Italian design studio Muttnik through the Studio Exchange programme[3] and later launched studio.exchange, an online platform for international office swaps between creative studios.[4][5][6]
andstudio’s work has been recognised by the European Design Awards, A’ Design Awards, Login Awards, and Lithuania’s Geras dizainas competition.[1]
Projects
andstudio has developed visual identity systems, packaging, and branding for organisations in Lithuania and abroad. Projects include Žalgiris, Uoga Uoga Kids,[7] and Basker.[8] The studio has created visual identity systems for SMK University of Applied Social Sciences[9][10][11] packaging for OddWorks, a UK-based cold brew coffee company, [12][13] and branding for the Digital Culture Index,[14] Kino Pavasaris film festival,[15][16] Ignitis energy group,[17] Mana Hotels,[18][19][16] and KOPA printing house.[20] It has also worked on publishing projects for IKEA.[1][21]
andstudio has worked with organisations such as NordVPN, Bored Panda, Kaunas Žalgiris, and Eika Group, and Lithuanian cultural and governmental bodies. The agency has also contributed to civic and creative initiatives, such as magazine projects and educational branding.[citation needed]
