Andy Harrison holds an Undergraduate Degree in Biochemical Engineering from McGill University and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. In addition, he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.[3]

Andy started his professional career at RBC Ventures, a fund that was part of the DFJ Global Network. From there, he helped build and scale two companies, one seeded by Stanford University’s Endowment, which was successfully acquired.[4]
At Google, he took on commercial leadership roles at X (Google X) and Verily (Google Life Sciences). As an executive at Google X, Andy contributed to projects involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, and cybersecurity. He also played a key role in spinning out the AI and quantum computing team Sandbox and the AI and robotic software team Intrinsic.[5][6]
