Andy Le is an American actor, producer, and stunt performer born in October of 1991. Le has starred various movies, including Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,[1][2] The Paper Tigers,[3] and his only self-produced project, Supreme Art of War.[citation needed] Le also appeared in Wu-Tang: An American Saga as Fang. In 2011, Le co-founded a martial arts club called Martial Club,[4] which went on to direct stunts for multiple movies including Shang-Chi (2021) and Everything Everywhere All at Once with Michelle Yeoh.[5] Despite his part in creating the club, Le has done multiple solo-stunting jobs without the group.

Early life[edit]

Le was raised in Orange County, California where he grew up watching multiple martial arts movies throughout his childhood.[6] He claims this impacted his life choices and his decision to be a martial-artist later in life. Sometime in 2011, he and his brother Brian, along with their mutual friend Daniel Mah, founded Martial Club.[7] The club gained traction, and within its first year it published a YouTube channel.[1]

Acting career[edit]

Luc Van Tien[edit]

Luc Van Tien is an action-based re-telling of a Vietnamese legend.[8] In the film, Le stars solely for stunt performances, and is credited as "Duisher Bui's Men".[9] The film is about Lục Vân Tiên being transported to the future, befriending a scammer, and saving Nga.

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings[edit]

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a film produced by Marvel Studios. The movie centers around Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) ultimately saving his deceased mother's village, and the world.[10] Le plays Death Dealer, who tortures a young Shang-Chi and serves Wenwu (Tony Leung). His stunts were performed by himself.

Wu Tang: An American Saga[edit]

Wu-Tang: An American Saga is a Hulu series about taking place around the up-rise of cocaine and cocaine addictions in the United States. The show centers around a bus-driver protagonist who strives to unite a group of young black men.[11] The show was recently greenlit for season two, premiering in the late-summer of 2021.[12] Le plays Fang in the show, and it is unannounced if he will return.

The Paper Tigers[edit]

The Paper Tigers is a 2020 film about three kung fu masters avenging their dead trainer.[13]
