Andy Reid (amputee)
Andy Reid is a British tailor[1] and ex-service man who is a triple-amputee. A member of the 3rd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment, he was injured in a bombing in 2009. He is a public speaker and charity fundriaser for his Standing Tall foundation, which supports ex-defence force members.[2][3][4]
Reid was made an MBE in June 2019 for service to veterans and people with disabilities.[5]
In October 2022, he became the first triple-amputee to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.[6]
