Angel Carter

Angel Charisma Conrad (born December 7, 1987) is an American model and singer, interior designer. She is also the younger sister of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, and the older twin sister of deceased pop star Aaron Carter.

Early Life

Angel Charisma Conrad (nee Carter) was born on December 7, 1987, in Tampa, Florida. Her parents, Jane Eleonora Schneck (nèe Spaulding, previously Carter) and Robert Gene Carter (September 23, 1952 - May 16, 2017), ran the Garden Villa Retirement Home.

Her older brother is Nickolas Gene Carter (January 28, 1980), and her older sisters are Bobbie Jean Carter (January 12, 1982), Leslie Barbara Ashton (nee Carter) (December 13, 1978), and her slightly younger twin brother, Aaron Charles Carter (December 7, 1987 - November 5, 2022). Her father also had three daughter, Ginger Lee Carter (January 16, 1972 - May 29, 2023), Leslie Anna Nicole Carter (June 6, 1986 - February 8, 2012) and Leslie Anna Carter (October 14, 1982 - November 18, 2007), from his first marriage to Pamela Freeman Wolfe, and a son, Kaden Brent Carter, from his third marriage to Ginger. R. Elrod. Her mother remarried in 2005 to Gregory W. Schneck. She also has several step-siblings on both sides.

The family was originally from Jamestown, New York, but moved to Ruskin, Florida in 1984. Her parents divorced in 2004. Angel and Aaron were the only Carter siblings who attended their father's wedding ceremony to Ginger Elrod in Key West, Florida in 2004.

Carter attended the Frank D. Miles Elementary School and the Ruskin School in Florida.

Career

Modeling

Angel did some modeling from her early teens and until she was in her 20s, and had modeling contracts in Japan and New York.

TKO

Conrad was a member of a girl group called TKO (Total Knock Outs) for an unknown period of time. The other members of the group were Cameron Marion and Jana. They released one CD Single in October 2007 called "I Love You", which featured Aaron Carter rapping on the track. The song is still available to stream on Spotify, or you can buy the physical single on websites such as Amazon.

Angel Conrad Interior Design

Angel started her own company called Angel Conrad Interior Design in 2020.

Personal Life

In a May 23, 2023 article in People Magazine, where Angel was interviewed about her work with the mental health organization On Our Sleeves and Aaron's death, she said that her entire family needed "intense therapy" due to generations of dysfunction and addiction, but is the only one who has done so. According to herself, she has gotten weekly therapy sessions since she was 18 years old.

Relationships

Angel began dating her now-husband, Corey Conrad, on June 11, 2011. The couple became engaged on April 15th, 2013, and after a nine-month engagement they got married on February 10th, 2014. Angel was walked down the isle by her brother Aaron due to an estrangement from their father.

Angel and Corey became first-time parents on January 4th, 2019 at 4:28AM when their daughter, Harper Noelle was born.
