The Simple Life

The Simple Life with Angie & Dakota is an IMVU reality television series starring Angie and Dakota from Love Connection. It depicts the two wealthy socialites, as they struggle to do menial, low-paying jobs such as cleaning rooms, farm work, serving meals in fast-food restaurants, and working as camp counselors. The series premiered on April 2, 2022

Format

In the first season, Angie and Dakota agreed to leave behind their cellphones, credit cards and celebrity status to move in with the Ledding family in Altus, Arkansas working minimal wage jobs for a month. In the second season, travel by bus working various internships with companies and staying with different families across the East Coast of the United States.

On May 25th 2024, a week before the 6th episode aired, it was announced that Angie and Dakota would not be working together for the rest of the season after having a personal falling out. Episodes 7 and 8 they would be playing house wives to two separate families for the remainder of season 2

• Sapphire from Love Connection 5 made a guest appearance in season 2 episode 4, dancing in a drag show.
• Amy host of IMVU.Games made a guest appearance on season 2 episode 5, getting her fortune read by Angie
• Ash From Vu Sorority made a guest appearance in season 2 episode 5, getting his fortunate read by Dakota.
• Omar from Love Games made a guest appearance in season 2 episode 6, going on a date with Jenny after Angie and Dakota gave her a make-over.
• Emily from Love Connection 3 filmed a scene back in 2022 which will air in the fall of 2024 (Season 3 episode 1)
• Angela and Tyler from VirtualMTV filmed a scene back in 2022 which will air in the fall of 2024 (season 3 episode 3)
• Chanelle Star from Love Connection 7 will have a role in season 3.

The girls are back and this time they will be traveling the east coast by bus, staying with different families and working different jobs. They start out in New York City, shopping and partying before they embark on their new adventure. Their first job is working as mechanics, They failed their job miserably after Dakota drove off with a cop car, flirted with costumers and crashed a car.

Angie and Dakota enters the residence of their new host family where Dakota's dog is attacked by their family cat. The next morning the girls starts their second internship at an airport where they check people into their flight and acted as flight attendants. Meanwhile, Angie stays home to write Dakota's dog a get-well song while Dakota takes () out ice skating and reunites him with his ex girlfriend.

The girls meet their new host family who is addicted to smoking cigarettes so they made it their mission to help them quit by buying them nicotine patches and x rated movies to take their minds off of it. Their next internship is at a funeral home, where they drove a casket with a body in it to the funeral home play x rated music by Cupcakke, sold caskets to an elderly couple and knocked over the ern of a cremated person and vacuumed the ashes up.

While on the Bus to their new host family they meet a man on the bus who had Tourette and help him look pretty by putting lip size enhancing balm on him. Their new family is Doddy a single mother of two hot son and pretty daughter. Their next internship is at Baltimore local news station where they reported current events and the weather. Later the girls takes the family for a night out at a drag bar, where one son feels uncomfortable. At the end Angie gives him a lap dance to make him feel better. Doddy had the best experience ever with the girls who would love for Angie or Dakota to marry one of her sons.
13	5	"We're Psychic B8tch"	March 27, 2024
Angie and Dakota are seen walking into a diner, for lunch and meets to young boys. Soon they go in for their Next internship at LeAnne's Psychic Shop where the girls learn to fortune tell. Amy made a special guest appearance getting her tarot cards ready to her by Angie and Ash from Vu Sorority (Season 1) made an appearance as well. Dakota made several guys take her off their shirts and pants to "tell their fortune. They would later be fired after abandoning their job to get their nails done. Later the girls babysit little Kaylah while her parents house out. They decide to play hide and seek with her outside in the dark and loses the little girl.

Kayla comes out of hiding as Angie, Dakota and her parents are all looking for her. The parents pays the girls, each 10 bucks for baby sitting to witch the girls are not pleased with. they meet their new host family, but is so tired and make the family bring in their 50 bags of luggage which causes drama between the girls and the mom. The girls starts their new internship at a local Salon where they wax a man and give a middle aged lady a make over for her husband. Later the girls take Jenny out for a make her preparing her for her first date with Omar from Love Games Season 1. After getting Jenny in trouble for charging up her $50 credit card limit to $200, they are forced to return the clothes but keeps the make up kit.
