Angel Marcloid (born September 24, 1984)[3][4] is an American experimental musician and multi-instrumentalist based in Chicago, Illinois.[5] She has released music as Fire-Toolz, MindSpring Memories, and Nonlocal Forecast, among other aliases.[1][6]

Career[edit]

Marcloid formed her first band at 8 years old.[7] She has performed under more than a dozen pseudonyms since the 1990s, and has played in the bands Age Sixteen, New Years, and A Perfect Kiss.[8][2]

Until 2017, Marcloid ran a cassette label called Rainbow Bridge. She also ran a net label called Swamp Circle from 2012 until 2018.[7][5][9] As of 2022, she runs a mixing, mastering, and music production service called Angel Hair Audio.[10]
