Angela Stone is a New Zealand fashion stylist.[1][2], ambassador.[3][4][5], personal brand developer, author.[6][7] and media personality.[8][9] She has over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry[10][11] and starred as one of the housewives in The Real Housewives of Auckland[12].
Career
Angela became a model at 14.[clarification needed][13][14][15] Working with retailers and designers throughout New Zealand including Ballantynes, Kimberleys, Glassons, Bendon, Adidas, Knights of NZ, Arthur Barnetts, LWR, Charade and more.
At 17,[clarification needed] Angela joined New Zealand's largest model agency, Maysie Bestall-Cohen.[16] She was later signed by a model agency from Milan, Italy.[13] Her international career spanned three years working on fashion shows and assignments throughout Europe.[17][18]
At 21,[clarification needed] Angela opened Portfolio Model Agency Ltd in Christchurch, New Zealand.[19][15][14] As the director, she produced events, modelling competitions and fashion shows throughout the South Island. After selling Portfolio Model Agency Ltd at 28,[20] she began contracting her services to individuals and companies as a wardrobe stylist and personal development consultant under Angela Stone Consulting Ltd.[14][21] Later offering styling courses for individuals, corporate groups, and teenagers, which she continues to run today.[15][22] In 2012, Angela added the StyleYou eCourse to Angela Stone Consulting’s services.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Angela launched a free fashion styling podcast.[23]

Personal Development Coaching
Angela performs personal development consultations to individuals and at conferences and conventions.[40] She has worked with a wide range of companies including Bell Gully, Emergency Care Foundation, ANZ National Bank and Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
Since 2008, Angela has worked with the New Zealand Defence Force as part of their Limited Service Volunteer programme.[41] The programme provides grooming and presentation coaching to participants to help prepare them for job interviews.[41]

Angela Stone Consulting is a fashion styling educator created in 2014.[20] The business offers a Fashion Stylist Course, Teen Styling Course,[42] Teen Boys Styling Course[42] and Retail Styling Course.

Canterbury Runway
Canterbury Runway [44] holds events such as Lindauer Best Dressed at Addington Races, Fashion in the Fields at Riccarton Races and The Inter Dominion Grand Final harness racing fashion event, as well as the Canterbury Runway Spring and Autumn Fashion Collections on an annual basis.[45] Angela is the Fashion Coordinator of New Zealand Cup and Show Week.[46][47][48]
