Anglesey League

The Anglesey League was one of the oldest football leagues in Wales.

Despite it often being claimed that it was formed in 1895, it was actually formed 2 years later in 1897. Regardless it was the oldest league in North Wales by the time it had to fold in 2020 due to Welsh league system restructures.

Most of the league's teams came from Anglesey but some teams from nearby Gwynedd and occasionally even Conwy County Borough appeared at times.
