Holyhead Hotspur Football Club was formed in 1990 in the town of Holyhead, Anglesey.
The club entered the Anglesey League and within 6 years they had absorbed all other clubs in the town. In 1998 they were promoted to the Cymru Alliance.
As of 2026 they play in the Cymru North and are the top-ranked team in Anglesey.
