Angole/Wera Primary School
Angole/Wera Primary School was among the first primary schools of Amuria district, Uganda. It is located seventeen miles from Soroti town on the Soroti–Moroto road.[1] Many prominent politicians including Musa Ecweru, and Onapito Ekomoloit went through Angole/Wera primary school. The school infrastructure was destroyed during the Teso insurgency (1987–1993).[2] The government tried to renovate the main building in the early 1990s but there still remains much to be done to bring the school back to its original shining state both in its physical structures and academic performance.
