Anil Chawan (born 27 April 1999) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for East Bengal in the Indian Super League.[1]

Career[edit]

Youth career[edit]

Born in Guirim, Goa, Anil Chawan began his youth career at the Sesa FA at the age of 15. He was promoted to the senior team within two years.[2]

Sesa FA[edit]

Anil started his professional career with Sesa FA in the Goa Professional League. He captained the team in the 2018–19 season before joining ATK.[3]

ATK[edit]

Anil was part of the ATK squad for the 2019-20 Indian Super League season. He captained the ATK Reserves team in the I-League 2nd Division and played in the Durand Cup.[4]

East Bengal[edit]

In 2020, Anil signed for East Bengal and was part of their squad for the 2020-21 Indian Super League season.[5]
