Muheet Shabir (born 7 August 2001) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters FC as the fourth goalkeeper ahead of 2020-21 Indian Super League season.[1]
Early Life
Shabir was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Shabir began his football career by joining the academy of I-League side, Real Kashmir FC. He then later moved to the Jammu and Kashmir State Football Academy. He was called up for trials in India Under-19 as well as the Tata Football Academy.[2]
Career
Kerala Blasters FC Reserves and Academy
Shabir began his senior career by joining the reserve side of Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters FC. He had featured for the club in I-League 2nd Division, in Kerala Premier League and for their Under-18 Division. He was a part of KPL winning team of Kerala Blasters Reserves.[3][4]

Ahead of 2020-21 Indian Super League season, Shabir earned promotion under a five year contract to the senior team of Kerala Blasters from the Reserves squad to serve as the club's option for fourth Goalkeeper.[5]
