Anil K Reji (Born on 22nd October 1993) popularly known as AKR is an Indian film actor from the Malayalam film industry. Anil applied for the audition of Aashiq Abu's directional movie Idukki Gold in 2013, and was selected to play the younger version of Babu Antony. Idukki Gold was produced by M Renjith and released on 11 October 2013.

Anil K Reji was born in Kochi, India as the son of Reji Koshy and Marina Reji. Anil is also having an Elder sister named Renu Mary Reji who is working as an Artist/designer. Anil did his secondary level education from Nava Nirman Senior secondary school, Kakkanad. And then he graduated from Mar Baselios Institute of technology and science (MBITS), with a degree in Mechanical engineering. He graduated from college in 2016 and is currently concentrating on his Acting career in Malayalam Cinema.[1]
Acting career[edit]
Anil applied for the audition of Idukki Gold and got included in the shortlisted actors and got his debut role to play the younger version of Babu Antony. Anil appeared as Sudeep alongside Mammootty, Nayanthara and Rachana Narayanankutty in A. K. Sajan’s movie Puthiya Niyamam. The movie went on to be dubbed into Telugu under the name Vasuki.[2][3] He also appeared in several famous international advertisements like Pepsi advertisement for the Indian Premier League with MS Dhoni[4] and Virat Kohli[5] and Fashion at BigBazaar (fbb) advertisement with Shikhar Dhawan.[6] Anil played a lead role in Najeem Koya’s debut directorial movie Kaly.[7][8][9]
