Anil Saeed
Anil Saeed is a Pakistani civil servant currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADC-G) of Attock District, Punjab, Pakistan. He is recognized for his efforts in administrative reforms, anti-encroachment operations,[1] environmental initiatives, and public welfare improvements.[2][3][4]
Career
Anil Saeed assumed office as the ADC-G of Attock City in 2024. His tenure has been marked by proactive policies focusing on public health and regulatory enforcement.[citation needed]
Administrative initiatives
As the ADC-G of Attock District, Saeed spearheaded strict measures against illegal encroachments within the district. In April 2025, he announced a "zero-tolerance" policy against unlawful occupation of public and private lands, warning offenders of stringent consequences.[5] These efforts intensified in May 2025, leading to the removal of encroachments from key roads and marketplaces, thereby improving urban accessibility and civic order.[6][7][8]
Environment
In February 2025, under his coordination, the Plastic Management Committee declared Attock District Punjab's first "plastic-free district."[9] Saeed promoted local enforcement of plastic bans alongside awareness campaigns aimed at reducing plastic pollution and fostering environmental responsibility among citizens.
Public health campaigns
During his tenure, Anil Saeed supervised Attock District's dengue prevention program, contributing to significant progress.[10][10][11][12][13] The health department reported effective results from coordinated fumigation drives and monitoring of vulnerable areas, thereby mitigating the spread of the disease.[10]Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name[14]

National solidarity and public engagement
On May 8, 2025, Anil Saeed led a public rally in Attock expressing solidarity with Pakistan's armed forces. The event was attended by government officials, civil society members, and youth participants, reinforcing unity and patriotism within the district.[16][17]
