Advocate Anis Ahmed Khan is a former Pakistani politician. He was a member of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).
Personal life
Anis Ahmed belongs to an Urdu-speaking Muhajir family.
Political career
Muttahida Qaumi Movement
Anis Ahmed joined MQM in 2003 and became an ordinary member of the Muttahida Quami Movement. Later, he became a member of the Rabita Committee. Anis left MQM in 2013.
Pak Sarzameen Party
In 2016 he joined Pak Sarzameen Party.[1][2] He and former Mayor of Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal held a press conference confirming that he had joined PSP. He then criticised MQM when he joined PSP.[3][4]
After PSP lost the 2018 Pakistan elections, Anis Advocate left PSP.
Arrest
In March 2017, Anis Advocate was arrested along with Mustafa Kamal during the Million March.[5]
