Anish Achuthan is an Indian entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of India's 100th unicorn, Open Financial Technologies.[1] He is also the co-founder and CEO of Indian B2B companies, Zwitch and Banking Stack.[2]
Early life
Born in Perinthalmanna, Anish stopped schooling after the 10th standard.[3] Initially he worked for PayU, before starting his company Zwitch, which was eventually sold to payments giant, CitrusPay.[4]
Open Financial Technologies
Open Financial Technologies is Asia's first neobank for SMEs, startups and freelancers. It was founded by Anish Achuthan, Mabel Chacko, Deena Jacob and Ajeesh Achuthan.[5] Open has raised USD 190 million in funding at a valuation of USD 1 billion, becoming India's 100th unicorn.[6]

Anish Achuthan currently runs two more companies – Zwitch and Banking Stack[7] Zwitch is an embedded finance platform while Bankingstack is an enterprise banking solution for banks.[8]
Family
Open Financial Technologies co-founder, Mabel Chacko, is Anish Achuthan's wife, while co-founder and CTO, Ajeesh Achuthan, is his brother.[9]
