Anjali Vishwakarma
Anjali Vishwakarma (born 11 January 1993) is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 2021 batch, currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) in the Kanpur Nagar Police Commissionerate, Uttar Pradesh. She is known for her transition from a successful international engineering career to civil services, her disciplined policing, and her stand for women’s safety and administrative transparency.[1]

Anjali Vishwakarma was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India into a middle-class family. Her father, Arun Kumar Vishwakarma, supported her education from an early age.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Aerospace Engineering. During her time at IIT, she developed a strong interest in public service and national development.
Professional career before civil services
