Anjan Banik
Anjan Banik (22nd Feb 1978 -till date) is a vetereen Science Teacher under Directorate of Secondary Education of Department of School Education of Government of Tripura and residing at Dhaleswar, Agartala, the capital of Tripura State of North East India. He has been Awarded with the National Best Science Teacher Award 2018 at 2nd National Science and Techno Fair of Surendranagar, Gujrat, by the Raman Science and Technology Foundation of Rajkot, Gujrat; which is an affiliated Science organisation to Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Appointed as Director of both organisations “National Council of Teacher Scientist - India” and “APJ Abdul kalam National Council of Young Scientists - India”, affiliated organisations under VIPNET of Vigyan Prasar Ministry and Department of Science and Technology Govt of India.
Serving under Directorate of Secondary Education, Govt. Of Tripura, India, as Asst Teacher.
He is Awarded with the Teacher Innovation Award 2019 by Sri Aurobindo Society, (ZIIEI), Puducherry &
the National Best Science Teacher Award 2018 by Raman Science and Technology Foundation, affiliated under VIPNET of Vigyan Prasar Ministry and Department of Science and Technology Govt of India &
Awarded with CERTIFICATE of the UN WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY HERO 2019 by UNEP, (UN), WED 2019 TEAM for promotion of wearing mask to beat air pollution even during the pre-corona situation.

He in his career served as prominent Journalist, Reporter & Column Writer of various local & global level media organisations also such as SYANDAN PATRIKA, MAITREE SAMBAD, JANAPAD, HFT News Letter of Tripura and NCSTC Govt of India supported Science Paper VAIGYANIK DRISTIKON (JAIPUR - RAJASTHAN).
He was involved in editing as Hon. EDITOR of DATELINE AGARTALA (Science & Social monthly news-views-paper).
He is the Founder President of SCIENCE WRITER'S ASSOCIATION OF TRIPURA, INDIA and veteran Member of AGARTALA PRESS CLUB (TRIPURA), TRIPURA EDUCATION SOCIETY (TRIPURA), INDIAN SCIENCE CONGRESS ASSOCIATION - DHARMANAGAR CHAPTER (TRIPURA), Raman Science & Technology Foundation - India (Gujrat), National Council of Teacher Scientists (India), All India Ramanujan Maths Club (Gujrat), HEPATITIS FOUNDATION OF TRIPURA (TRIPURA), BODHJUNG SCHOOL ALUMNI (AGARTALA- TRIPURA), RAMAKRISHNA VIVEKANANDA VIDYAMANDIR ALUMNI (AGARTALA- TRIPURA), Tripura Mountaineering Foundation (AGARTALA- TRIPURA).
He is Program coordinator & Chief Organiser of India International Sarabhai Student Scientist Award, Dr APJ ABDUL KALAM INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE CARTOON AWARD, and Sir JC BOSE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE & MATH PUPPETRY FILM FESTIVAL AWARD 2020 etc assignment based online activity submission programs also for both teacher & students to motivate towards Science & Mathematics Education.
There was so many research work and research paper in his credit which has already been published in prestigious journals like Indian Journal of Science Communication of NCSTC DST Govt of India and published in various Conference Abstracts or souvenirs apart from also been presented in different National & Global level Conferences organised by NCERT, RIEs of NCERT, National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) of Department of Science & Technology Govt of India. His Science & Mathematics Education and Impact outcomes of Science education studies in different levels of school education has also been appreciated and documented by NCERT, RIEs of NCERT and IGNOU.
He is one audience catcher resource person for radio talks especially at ALL INDIA Radio, TV talk shows and different webinars of different nationally accredited organisations as he attended several such sessions.
