Personal life

Joon was born to Rakesh Joon and Shailaja Joon, who are owners of GD Goenka Public School, Bahadurgarh.[5][6] He also owns RSHL Real Estate Development in Dubai.

Career

Joon is a badminton player[7][8] as he earned runner-up position five times and a winner position once in All India Ranking Tournaments[9] and also remained the Haryana State Champion for two years.[10] However, an unfortunate incident left him injured, for which he had to undergo an operation on his elbow that eventually shortened his sporting journey.
