Ann Rubin
Ann Rubin (born May 2, 1974) is an American TV journalist. She began her career in Pocatello, Idaho in the late 1990s. She is currently a general assignment reporter for KSDK, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri.[1] She has won three Emmy awards for her work.[2]
Early life
Rubin was born May 2, 1974 in Chicago and grew up on the North Shore of Chicago. She attended Bannockburn Elementary School in Bannockburn, Illinois and later Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois.
Career
Rubin began her career in Pocatello, Idaho, where she shot and compiled all of her own stories for the CBS affiliate, KIDK. In the late 1990s, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and joined the FOX news team at KVVU. In 2002, Rubin moved to her present employer, KSDK, in St. Louis, Missouri. At KSDK, Rubin has been a general assignment reporter and has won three Emmy awards for her work. Rubin has continued to be a regular feature of the highly-rated 10 o'clock news.
Personal life
Rubin received her BA from Bowdoin College where she graduated magna cum laude in both Art History and English.[citation needed] She currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
