Anna Cope

Anna Victoria Cope (born 1978) is a British politician. She is a Green Party councillor for the Cage Green and Angel ward in Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council in Kent, England. She is the parliamentary candidate for the Green Party in Tonbridge for the next general election.

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council[edit]

Cope was elected to the Castle Ward at a by-election on 9 December 2021, with 59% of the vote.[1] The Castle Ward was then abolished, and Cope stood for the Cage Green and Angel Ward at the 4 May 2023 Borough Elections. She earned 22% of the vote, the most of any candidate.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Cope was born in 1978 in Lincolnshire. She has two children with her husband Jon, who is a lecturer at the University of Westminster. Cope and her family have lived in Tonbridge since 2012.[3]
