Anna Ekeledo is a Nigerian-Senegalese entrepreneur[1], leader, and former Executive Director of AfriLabs, a pan-African innovation network.[2][3][4]

Early life and education

Ekeledo was born in Russia to a Nigerian and a Senegalese parent and spent part of her childhood in both Nigeria and Senegal.[5] She studied Psychology at Covenant University, Ota, where she graduated with first-class honours. In 2012, she obtained a master's degree in International Marketing from the University of Leeds Business School.[6][7]

Career

She began her career as an Executive Director and head of senior marketing at Afrilabs in 2016.[8][9][10] In 2026, she stepped down as the Executive Director to serve as a member of advisory council.[11][12]

Ekeledo has been recognized by organizations such as Skoll World Forum and the World Economic Forum. She has also served as an advisor to the Africa-Europe Foundation Digital Strategy Task Force, the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Technology Policy, and the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) Strategic Group on Mining and Manufacturing.[6]
