Anne Louise Avery

Anne Louise Avery is an award-winning art historian with a focus on African-American Art from the 18th and 19th century. She is widely considered to be an expert on Edward Mitchell Bannister.[1] She has also authored the book on Outsider ArtWe Were There, Now We're Here: New Art by Young British Artists with Autism, which included an foreward by the Prime Minister, David Cameron.[2]
