Annie Elizabeth is a late-keeping cooking apple raised by Samuel Creatorex in about 1857. Received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1868.

  • Colour: Golden yellow, 25-50% flushed with orange red.
  • Eye: Large, open, deeply set in an irregular angular basin.
  • Flesh: White, coarse textured, rather acid.
  • Shape: 87x65mm, large, round, widest at the base, prominently ribbed or angular.
  • Picking: September-October
  • Use: November-April
  • Stalk: Very short[1], [2]
