Anthony Rodriguez (Born 24 June 1982) is an American pianist, music entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker. In 2004 he produced the soundtrack of Bronze Telly Award Winning film, Isaiah's Touch Tangy's Song.[2][3] In 2005 Anthony formed a Latin jazz band called Poetology[4][5] and in 2006 released an album titled Harvest unto the Lord. Harvest unto the lord is a top seller on CD baby.[6] In 2012 Rodriguez recorded and produced his second project, Keys to the Kingdom. Keys to the Kingdom was an Amazon best seller after it was released.[7][8][9] Rodriguez has performed with artist such as Rene Gonzalex, Samuel Hernandez, Ezequiel Colon, Puchi Colon, Bani Munoz (Canzion), Jose Papo Rivera, Brenda K. Starr[10] and Orquesta Xariz.[5]
In 2015 Rodriguez teamed up with China based headphone company Mixcder for an endorsement deal.[11][12][13]
Rodriguez is the founder of Anthony Rodriguez Music Group (ARMG),[14][15][16] a banner he records under as well as provides Piano Lessons and music recording.[17]
In April 2015, He released the first Latin tribute to the Grammy winning artists Mary Mary Shackles in Salsa[18][19]
Early life and music career[edit]
Rodriguez is a native of New Jersey, born to Antonio Rodriguez and Wanda Rodriguez, both of Puerto Rican descent. He studied for 7 years as a self-taught musician, and at the age of 16 became the pianist for his home church in New Jersey.[20] At the age of 17 he was introduced to Juan Gonzalez, producer of the "Libre" album and pianist for Marc Anthony. Under Juan Gonzalez supervision, he learned music theory, music production, and piano.[21] Anthony has performed with a number of music orchestras including Ebenezer and Xariz, Ray and Nelson Colon, vocalist like Rene Gonzalez, Samuel Hernandez, Brenda K Starr and Ezequiel Colon.[5][22]
Anthony Rodriguez has released 2 full albums, Harvest unto the Lord (2006)[23] and Keys to the Kingdom (2012), a Caribbean jazz album.
Harvest unto the Lord is Anthony's first full length album. The album is a Christian Latin jazz produced by Anthony and the Poetology, a band he formed. Harvest unto the Lord consisted of an Intro and 7 new songs: Harvest unto the Lord, Loving only you, El Shaddai, Prayer to God, Freedom, Long Story, and Trio. The Album was top selling on CD Baby.[24]
Anthony Rodriguez second full length album, Keys to the Kingdom is a best seller on Amazon.[7][8] The album delivers a taste of Caribbean with a mix of Jazz elements. Keys to the Kingdom also has songs from Gospel and Latin artists, plus Puerto Rican Culture songs. The album has 10 new Singles: Open mind, We fall down, Por la via dolorosa, Alsare mis ojos, Eran cien ovejas, En mi Viejo san juan, Freedom, Y solo pensar, Historia de amor and Alfa y omega[25]
In 2015 he released the singles Shackles (Salsa). Shackles is the first official Latin tribute to Grammy winning Gospel Artist Mary Mary, Shackles Salsa[19][26]

Rodriguez is the bestselling author of the book, The Musician: Establishing Your Natural Ability into a Lifestyle, published in 2013.[7][27][28] Using his experience as a self-made music entrepreneur, Anthony outlines how anyone can become their own personal success in both business and life. The book shares insights about his own path; from his lowly beginning to his work ethics, business strategies, and lessons learned competing as a musician and as an entrepreneur. The Book offers a step by step guide to climbing the success ladder from a nine to five job to doing what you love; from valuable lessons learned as an innovative 12-year-old music entrepreneur finding ways to make music with nothing but a cheap keyboard; to playing for free so everyone can learn about him; to releasing two Independent Records, Music Producing; and to establishing his own music company.[29]

Motivational speaker and Teacher[edit]
Rodriguez is a speaker for Hispanic Inspiring Students Performance and Achievement organisation and in 2012 was featured as the most influential speaker for HISPA.org.[30] He gives his time to support Private organizations, Businesses, Churches, Boys & Girls Clubs, Governmental activities and Public Schools with motivational speeches[31] [32] [33] [34] [35]
In 2008 he established Anthony Rodriguez Piano Workshop, designed to teach piano online and at its Location in Jersey City, New Jersey. Anthony is responsible for teaching and guiding students enrolled in the Piano workshop. He is a 2015 top rated piano teacher in North New Jersey.[36]
Philanthropy[edit]
Anthony Rodriguez has supported charity organizations. He donates a percentage of his music sales to World Vision via ReverbNation.com, and has also raised money for Autism Speaks. In 2006 Anthony and his band Poetology participated in a cancer walk for American Cancer Society. Rodriguez performed live while students at Rutgers University walked throughout the [[New Brunswick, New Jersey |New Brunswick, NJ campus]].[37][citation needed]
Rodriguez is now running for Charity Miles, each mile he runs will donate 25 cents to the Autism Speaks, and other organizations.[38][39] He is a 2015 Finisher's medalist for Half Marathon Michelob Ultra[40][41]
In 2015 Rodriguez established a Foundation called "Anthony Rodriguez Foundation" to help less fortunate children in the Dominican Republic with electric pianos and musical supplies.[3][42]
Personal life[edit]
Rodriguez resides in Piscataway, New Jersey, USA. In 2005 Rodriguez married his wife Denise, and on May 23, 2013, their first daughter Aveleen Zoe was born. Rodriguez and his wife Denise dedicate their free time to teaching their daughter music. The couple is said to be expecting twin girls in 2016.[3][43]
