Anthony Varona is a Cuban-American academic administrator and law professor who currently serves as the Dean of Seattle University School of Law, succeeding Annette Clark in 2022.[1][2] Previously, Varona served as a dean and the M. Minette Massey Professor of Law at the University of Miami School of Law, and as an associate dean at the American University Washington College of Law.[3] Varona has taught classes in contracts, administrative and public law, media law, and sexuality and gender law.[4]
Biography
Varona is a renowned legal scholar and professor and has written extensively in the areas of media and sexuality law.[5] He is a co-author of the casebook Administrative Law: A Contemporary Approach.[6]
