Antiparah

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

According to the Book of Mormon, Antiparah (/ˌæntɪˈpɑːrə/)[1] was located south of the city of Judea (Alma 56:22), and at a higher elevation than Zarahemla (Alma 56:25).

We know about Antiparah only because of passages describing the movement of armies during a war initiated by the Zoramites: Alma 56:13-14, 25, 31-34 and Alma 57:1-4. The Lamanites, led by their king Ammoron, a Zoramite by birth, took Antiparah and three other cities, Manti, Zeezrom, and Cumeni. Antiparah seems to be the farthest west of the group, being the one closest to the city in the borders of the west seashore (Alma 56:31).
